Lip Blushing FAQ

1. What is lip blushing?

Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup that enhances the color, shape, and overall appearance of your lips. It gives the lips a natural, healthy tint.

2. Will lip blushing make my lips look bigger?

Yes, subtly. While it doesn't add volume like fillers, the enhanced color and definition can make lips appear fuller and more balanced.

3. How long does lip blushing last?

Typically 2–3 years. Fading depends on your skin type, lifestyle, skincare routine, and sun exposure.

4. Is lip blushing painful?

Most clients report mild discomfort. A strong topical numbing cream is used to minimize pain.

5. What does healing look like?

Expect mild swelling, scabbing, and peeling over the first 5–10 days. The color fades significantly during healing and then slowly returns over 4–6 weeks.

6. Will I still need to wear lipstick?

You can! Many clients find they don’t need to because their lips have a healthy tint, but you can layer lipstick over it for a bolder look.

7. Can you choose the color?

Absolutely. Your artist will help choose a shade that complements your natural lip tone and skin.
